Fun times before and after surgery

Later that night, both of Cicily's Grandmas and Grandpas came to visit her in the PICU. She was SO excited to see them, it really cheered her up! And they even brought presents to keep her entertained during her hospital stay.

Here she is playing the pillow game made up by Grandmas and Cicily! Grandmas make everything better!!

Waking up from a nap. Notice the diaper on the floor. Cicily is a fan of undoing her diaper lately and this afternoon she undid it and tossed it out of her crib! Fortunately I went in to get her out of her crib before we had any real messes.

The computer is in Cicily's room right now so we can watch her sleep and get something done too. She thinks it's quite cool to sit in the chair and move the mouse or pound on the keyboard!
Since the first time I took a picture of Maya and Cicily laying on Maya's pillow, Maya has asked for a picture of it each time.

We went to Tempe Splash Park today as part of our "fun day" before surgery for the rest of the summer. Both girls enjoyed splashing in the water!

Together with both her Grandpas. What a very lucky girl! We were taking a tour of Pueblo Grande with our special guide- Daddy.
This is Maya's dog, Aurora, that Cicily is in love with. It talks and says, "Hi Maya" and Cis thinks it's the greatest toy! She knows just where to pet it (or hit it) to make it talk and she's giving it kisses here, not trying to eat it.

Sunday afternoon, us girls were putting on Maya's play makeup after church. You can't see the makeup very well, but Maya's and Cicily's lips are all pink!
Surfing Safari with Dad!!This picture was just taken today. I put gel in Cicily's hair and it went super curly. Again, you can't really tell in this picture, but get ready to see it in real life as I think she'll go curly more often. (We're loving our garden in the background, Cicily's enjoying freshly grown squash in her shakes.)

Reading books together before nap time. Maya sometimes likes to "read" the books that she's memorized to Cicily and Cis, of course, loves it.
Cicily loves books! I clean these books up at least once a day and so far I love it!!
Cis walking with a walker! Our good friends let us borrow this cute little walker so Cicily can practice walking around. Shel likes being up on her feet. We're really focussing on just having her crawl a ton though because it's been SO good to strengthen her arm and back muscles and improve her balance.

Move out feeding therapists - Isabel's on the job! If anyone can get Cicily eating, it'll have to be her food adoring cousin Isabel! She took her turn feeding Cis while they were playing at our house one afternoon.

Cis got to "eat" mashed potatoes (colored pink for April Fools day) tonight. She had potatoes all over the floor, tray, shirt, arms, face, hair, trach, and BAHA. And I'm pretty sure slim to none went in the mouth!
