Cicily has been very interested in playing with her suction machine lately. She started out suctioning her doll that has a trach. Then she moved on to suctioning her dog Lucy. Now she likes suctioning Daddy, Maya or whoever will let her! She also likes to hold on to the tubing and help us when we're suctioning her. I remember when she was a baby hoping that she'd never have a trach long enough to suction herself. But honestly now I think it's really cute. I love that her life is full of things most people never have a chance to learn about and that she can make pretty much anything a fun game.

Cicily is awesome! she is such a happy girl! Monique is very happy too, in fact when she smiles we say that she is giving a "Cicily smile" her whole face beams! Maybe she learned it from the few times that Cicily was just holding and smiling at her!? big hugs to everybody! when is your due date?

Happened upon your blog using the "next blog" feature. What an amazing journey your life is...and you seem to take everything so calmly...perhaps you just don't share any heartaches you may have for your sweet little girl...wish I were more like that.
I hope that she stays as happy as she seems to be. I've had recent exerience with trachs, gtubes, breathing treatments, etc.. via my husbands battle with cancer..the battle he lost on April 13th. Thank you for sharing your story and God bless you and your family.
