Vigiling aint easy

I know many are checking continuously on Cicily, so I wanted to put something up here.  Truth is she's still breathing really slowly.  Sat in the chair all day today.  Had some great company.  She made a huge effort today to ask for something so we read books.  Then she asked for Sophie and Maya in turn tonight.
I think our little girl has just been so determined and fought so hard her whole life she doesn't even know how to let go.

Thank you for letting us know.
That girl really doesn't wanna leave you guys.
Are you getting any sleep? Are you going mental counting all the seconds between breaths?

Cicily has a life filled with love from her family and friends. She feels this and returns this love to you and everyone she knows. She is a very special young lady, who has touched others lives with love, joy, and happiness. My continued prayers, thoughts and love are with all of you.

She keeps wanting one more breath...to be with you all. It is so sweet really. I am so amazed by her strength, determination and pure love. Hang in there. It reminds me of a super long delivery. I am sure you're all exhausted. I know you cherish this time though, and will till you meet again.

Emily was the same way-she was on the ventilator and we took her off; the doctor thought it would be minutes and it was about 30. She kept holding on and he'd come in and check and there would still be a heartbeat. And she needed way more medicine then the recommended dose; she could still feel on a super high level of morphine. Even though we felt like her spirit was ready to move on her body didn't know how to stop fighting! I thought I'd know the exact moment her spirit left but I didn't. My sister in law did say she felt like the first thing she did was kiss lily, who she was holding. Love you!

Thank you for the updates on Cicily's condition. She is an amazing girl. I am so glad we shared time together, turning work into fun and sharing our love of laughter. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.
