May 6, 2017

I just did what I hope to be the most difficult thing I will ever do in my life.  I said goodbye to my Cicily's amazing body that has housed her powerful, courageous spirit for over 10 years.

A few hours before that, Cicily took her final mortal breath.  In impressively Cicily style, she waited patiently and gracefully until Mom, Dad, Maya and Sophie were all gathered around her before she finally let go.

I had been reading your sweet blog, but got busy with life for the last little bit. Then this morning I saw Grandpa Norm's sweet Facebook post. I am so sorry. Hugs and prayers for peace and comfort to all of you. Cicily is one lucky girl, having such a loving, sweet family. Grateful that we will all be able to be together again as families. You are a special mama. Love to you all. May you have peace knowing she will always be with you, and watching over you. Families are forever.

I was so sorry to hear of Cicily's passing. I'll always remember Cicily playing the part of Mary, the mother of Jesus, in our Christmas lesson in Primary. I wish I could be there to help support you at Cicily's funeral. Please know that I'll be praying for all of you all the way in Michigan.

Thank you for sharing your precious daughter's amazing mortal journey with us. My faith has been strengthened as I have read of the love and faith which fills your lives. I continue to pray for your beautiful family during this heartache while you are seperated from Cicily for a short period of time. But oh what a reunion it will be! What joy fills my heart at the thought of your family's reunion.

I know that it is a difficult time for you all right now. Cicily was a wonderful, loving young lady who gave and received so much love. She will always be a part of my heart. My prayers, thoughts, and love are with you and your family. What a special blessing she was and I am happy that she was surrounded by her family until the end. I will always remember her beautiful smile and the way she lit up the room when she entered. I hope it is a comfort to you knowing how many lives Cicily has touched, and how much she was loved. I will continue to pray to Jehovah for comfort, strength, and peace for your family during this difficult time. I send my love to all of you.

I am so sorry for the loss of your sweet girl. You do not know me, but I have been following Cicily's story since 2008 when you connected with me on a blended diet for my girl, who is now 10. Cicily was blessed to have such an amazing loving family surrounding her. Sending healing to your family.
